How can participants update their personal/HCP information on Health Storylines? (Mobile)
- Tap on the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on ‘Settings’.
- The user taps on what they want to update, i.e, ‘My Profile’, ‘Contact Information’, ‘Medical Information’ etc.
- Fill out necessary information. Once complete, the user should tap ‘save’ in the top right corner and select the back button in the top left corner to return to the settings menu.
- When profile information is complete, the user should click the arrow in the top left corner to go back to the study screen.
How can participants update their personal/HCP information on Health Storylines? (Web App)
- Click on the ‘My Profile’ button on the left panel.
- User adds their ‘Contact Information’ and your ‘Medical Information’
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click ‘Update Profile’
- Can a participant be a part of the study without completing my e-consent form?
- No. The participant needs to sign the e-consent to show that they consent to be part of the study.
- If the participant only gets the first round of the vaccine, will their data still be used to inform the study?
- Yes they are still eligible with only one dose, but if they receive a follow-up COVID-19 vaccine dose from any other manufacturer other than Pfizer/BioNTech they would no longer be eligible to participate.
- Can I continue to participate in the study if I don’t get my second dose?
- To be eligible for the study you need to have gotten both doses of the Pfizer Biotech Covid-19 vaccine.
- If a participant doesn’t feel comfortable answering a question in the questionnaire, do they have to complete it?
- The participants don’t have to answer anything they don’t want to, though some questions in a questionnaire will not allow them to continue without answering them.
- On average, how long does it take to complete each survey?
- Questionnaire lengths vary from 5 to 20 minutes.
- What is this study about?
- Sponsored by BioNTech/Pfizer, this study will explore how well participants tolerate the vaccine. This study is “non-interventional” because it collects information only.
- What is the study eligibility?
- Participants must confirm they received their first Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine in the last 5 days.
- Participants must confirm they are at least 18 years of age.
- How long is the study?
- This study will run for 2 years where participants will be asked to complete a few surveys at regular intervals.
- Is there compensation for this study?
- No, this study is not compensated for.
- If a participant got COVID-19 can they still be a part of the study?
- Yes, they can still be part of the study if they contract COVID after they’ve started the study. We ask about this in our follow-up surveys, and would appreciate them letting us know.
