- How can the participant receive notifications?
- Tap on ‘Menu’
- Tap ‘Settings’
- Tap ‘Notifications/Email Preferences’
- Toggle their desired option(s) “on” and tap save.
- How can participants change their passwords?
- Open the Health Storylines app and you will see the log-in area. Below the log-in click “forgot password”
- Why won’t the study accept the participant’s phone number?
- A cell phone number is required for security verification. A landline number will not be sufficient.
- Can a participant change their contact information during the study?
- Yes, the participant will need to tap the ‘Menu' button then 'Settings'. There they can change their profile settings or contact information.
- What if a participant no longer wishes to participate in the study?
- Participants may delete their account if they wish by going to settings and selecting ‘My Profile’ and scrolling down and selecting the red button that says “Send Request to Delete My Account”
- If a participant turns off their notifications, will they still be notified when they have to complete another questionnaire?
- No you will not be reminded if your notifications are off. Please turn on your notifications in your Health Storylines app settings as well as your phone settings.
- How can a participant change their language on the application?
- Change your language by going to your settings page in your Health Storylines app.
- A participant has accidentally deleted their app; how can they reinstall it?
- Reinstall the app from the app store or google play store depending on the device. The participant must login with their same username and password.
- How can a participant reset their password?
- Open the Health Storylines app and they will see the log-in area. Below the log-in click “forgot password”.
- A participant can’t move on to the next questionnaire, what should they do?
- When a questionnaire is complete and the final question is answered, the participant can then close the screen by clicking on the ‘x’ on the top right of the pop up modal.
- How will the participant know when questionnaires are available?
- Participants should receive an email and a push notification when there is a new questionnaire available in the app.
- How can participants review their previous questionnaires?
- Upon completion, the questionnaires will be removed from the Homepage. The user may review these completed questionnaires again by clicking the ‘View All’ page under the ‘Completed’ section.
